Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

BusinessTool PH ("we", "us") is operated by Escasi Ecompreneur Corporation in the Philippines. We provide business tools including AutoPrint ID Suite and manage the accounts, orders, and payments for those products. We process personal data in accordance with the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173) and its implementing rules.

2. Information we collect

• Account details — name, email address, contact number, and a password (stored only as a cryptographic hash, never in plain text).
• Order and payment records — the products and packages you purchase, amounts, voucher codes you apply, and the payment receipt image you upload (e.g. a GCash receipt screenshot).
• Subscription details — your plan, its start and expiry dates, and feature limits.
• Technical logs — IP address, browser information, and timestamps for security-relevant events (such as registration, orders, and administrative changes).
• Emails we send you — we record that transactional emails (welcome, order confirmation, expiry reminders, password reset) were sent.

3. How we use your information

• To create and manage your account and sign you in securely.
• To review payments, activate product access, and manage subscriptions.
• To send transactional emails: welcome, order received, payment confirmed, subscription expiry reminders, and password resets. We do not send marketing emails without your consent.
• To protect the service — rate limiting, fraud prevention, and audit logs of administrative actions.
• We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

4. Cookies

We use only functional cookies: a signed session cookie that keeps you logged in, and (in AutoPrint) a cookie that tracks free-tier feature usage. No advertising or analytics trackers are used.

5. Service providers (data processors)

We rely on a small set of infrastructure providers to run the service:

• Vercel — application hosting.
• Neon — database hosting (Singapore region).
• Cloudflare R2 — storage of uploaded payment receipts.
• Resend — delivery of transactional emails.

These providers process data on our behalf and may store it outside the Philippines. We share only what each provider needs to perform its function.

6. Retention

• Account records are kept while your account is active. Deleted accounts are deactivated and their password credentials are removed; the record is retained for audit and order-history purposes.
• Order and payment records are retained for accounting and dispute-resolution purposes.
• Security logs are periodically pruned.

7. Security

Passwords are stored using strong one-way hashing (scrypt). All traffic is encrypted with HTTPS. Sessions are signed and revalidated against the database, and administrative actions are logged. Login and registration are rate-limited to resist abuse. No method of storage or transmission is 100% secure, but we work to protect your data with industry-standard measures.

8. Your rights

Under the Data Privacy Act of 2012, you have the right to be informed, to access, to correct, to object, to erasure or blocking, to data portability, and to damages. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below. You may also lodge a complaint with the National Privacy Commission (privacy.gov.ph).

9. Children

Our services are intended for users 18 and older, or minors with the consent and supervision of a parent or guardian.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the service evolves. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date above, and where appropriate, notifying you by email.
